Airborne Museum Sainte-Mere-eglise

Built at the location where stood a house that was on fire during the night before D-day, this museum has been gathering an amazing collection of memorabilia, in particular in the form of donations from the veterans themselves.

The first building that was opened for the 20th anniversary houses an incredible and unique Waco glider, the second one for the 40th a C-47 airplane. There is an interesting film, and whole collection of vehicles, weapons, uniforms, material and much more.
